Indoor air quality is one of the most common sources of complaints in occupied buildings, which can also significantly impact occupant comfort, health, and productivity. We have the experience and tools to investigate air quality issues, whether they are related to mild pollutants or contaminants of concern.

For non-specific concerns, we can perform a general investigation to evaluate overall air quality. Our team is equipped to perform short-term surveys and long-term monitoring for several IAQ contaminants and thermal comfort parameters, whether building-wide or confined to a few locations. Pending the outcome of a general investigation, we may continue with specialized testing.
RocMar Environmental can quickly develop a sampling protocol for any investigation. We can also mobilize quickly, often on short notice, to perform our site investigations and provide feedback within a reasonable timeframe. Some of the most common parameters specifically requested for monitoring include nicotine, formaldehyde, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, humidity, volatile organic compounds, hydrogen gas, radon, particulates, mold, total bacteria, etc.
For Post-Disaster IAQs, whether a fire, flood, sewer backup or chemical spill, indoor air quality testing will help satisfy health and safety obligations and provide reassurances regarding the safety of the space re-occupancy or verification of abatement/remedial measures.
